The building in which you live is more than just a structure.  It has a deep, meaningful role in your life.  It is your Home - a word that often gets misused and warped.  A Home is not the physical parts of your house.  Rooms, doors, drywall, paint, studs, foundation...these mere objects alone do not make a Home.  A Home is defined not by the physical world but by the emotional one.  You deserve to feel a certain way when you arrive Home - like everything is right in the world, at least for a moment.  That idea is always top-of-mind for any project I undertake.  Working on someone's Home is an honor and privilege, and I promise to always ensure your space is respected.  If you have any specific requests (i.e. How I should announce my arrival or departure; How I should communicate/interact with you or anyone else on your property; How much you want to be involved in the process; If you have restrictions on noisy work hours) please let me know.  I will ensure your requests are followed to my utmost ability.  If there are any project management issues with your request, I will respectfully inform you of all the facts so you can make an informed decision about the next steps.

Home-ownership is often a life-long endeavor.  Once embarked upon, although the physical structure may change, your emotional and financial investment into your Home should continue to grow.  Through that journey, there will be many projects for maintenance or improvement.  A quality contractor or handyman should not be a one-time hire, rather a bond of trust, understanding, and respect must be forged and tended to.  My goal is both to provide a successful completion of the first project and establish an ongoing professional relationship so you can always have someone to manage your home-improvement that you know is trustworthy, dedicated, and respectful.

You have a full life with an ever-changing list of priorities and tasks.  Spending time with your family, grinding those extra hours at the office, or taking time for self-care often rank (rightfully) higher on the list than fixing that squeaky floorboard or replacing the rotting fence that has long contributed to the sanctuary of your home.  Even a simple 30-minute job can end up taking months just because of the countless other priorities you have constantly at play.  As a family-oriented, home-owning, businessman, I know this struggle all too well.  I started Verdant Mountain Home Services to allow me to use my working hours to help others focus on their families, careers, and health.  Leave the home maintenance and repairs to me.

I take the time to understand your unique needs.  Have a child who needs to nap at a specific time?  Let me know and I will ensure quiet hours during snoozes.  A dog that is a flight-risk? I'll run temporary fencing wherever necessary.  A Father-in-Law that needs to comment on each step of the process?  No problem, I love constructive feedback.  It's your house and I am here to make it feel more like Home, not less.  Just communicate your thoughts, concerns and ideas and I will incorporate them into my process.

Verdant Mountain Home Services is currently a one-man operation.  This means that every project you book is handled 100% by me - an Austin Native, Eagle Scout, MBA Graduate.  You will not find a handyman who is more attentive, prompt, and responsible.  If any projects do require additional help, you can rest assured that my years of business experience hiring quality employees will ensure every person on your property has been properly vetted and held to the highest standards.
